Why do pores get larger when you get old?

Oily or combination skin types will leave pores looking large. How ever its NOT age that determines skin pore size! Its keeping the skin clean....washing with a very mild cleanser, even just using water to rinse the skin. Pores will look smaller if you wash with WARM water and than rinse with COOL water. Use a toner after you towel dry your face. Go to a drug store or Health food store and buy some Witch-Hazel. Its very inexpensive and after drying the skin... use a cotton ball or pad and dot the witch-Haze on your nose and face. This will fight large pore problems. Be happy you have larger pores because as you age You ll not have such dry flaky skin!
