product or some type of exfoliating product?|||um...i would take him to dermatology. It could be something other than acne. Usually men go through puberty later than women even, so men usually start around 12 maybe? i dont know exact age.
Dermatology can be pretty difficult to get into, so when you call...kind of %26quot;exaggerate%26quot; his problem...if you dont you will end up waiting like a month or so....Or go see your family doctor and ask him/her
Or better yet, ask to see a Physicians Assistant in Dermatology or Nurse Practitoner, (if they have them at your clinic...) they can look at him as well and you would probably get in sooner. That usually isnt normal for an 8 yr old.
i wouldnt THINK it would hurt to use it on an 8 yr old, maybe something a little bit more mild/for sensitive skin. I would think...but dont hold me to that! But if i were u, i would go see dermatology before it becomes a problem later on.|||If he is on puberty or very close to getting it, then it%26#039;s normal. He%26#039;s not too young. For exfoliating products, I recommend St. Ives Scrub, Aveeno, or Neutrogena%26#039;s Acne Fading Peel since they contain an ingredient called salicyclic acid. He may notice that his face feels tight. That%26#039;s normal. Be sure to put on some moisturizers or lotions (no il in them) for your son.|||Try having him wash his face twice a day with plain soap and water %26lt;especially before bed%26gt;. If it doesn%26#039;t clear it up after a couple of weeks, using some acne cleanser for Mild sensitive skin shouldn%26#039;t hurt him. If he is outside a lot it could be from the sun thickening the skin of the nose clogging the pores. Have you thought of a Biore strip? Pain is the only side effect no chemicals involved.
