my pores are dirty. i clean my face morning and night, using a scrub in the morning and proactive and a toner at night. What do i need to do to deep clean out my pores?|||This is a GREAT mask you can make at home and your face will feel and look wonderful .......
All skin types benefit from exfoliation (removal of dead skin cells), and moisturizing ingredients. The following masque was designed to exfoliate and moisturize and can be used by all skin types. It is recommended for those with sensitive skin, so you can be confident about the results.
You will need:
陆 cup hot water (do not boil)
1/3 cup quick oatmeal (the label should say 1 minute or 3 minute cooking time)
2 tablespoons plain yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1 egg white from a small egg
First, mix water and oatmeal. Set this aside to thicken. It should form a paste. While the oatmeal is thickening, mix the other ingredients with a mixer. Add the oatmeal paste and mix until the mixture is well blended.
To use, apply a fairly thin layer evenly to the face, avoiding the eyelids. However, if you do get this masque in your eyes, just rinse out with warm water. No contents of this mixture should cause harm to the eyes. Leave on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. Your face should feel tight, but the masque does not need to dry completely to work. When your time is up, simply rinse your face with warm water.
This mixture should be just enough for one application. If you have any left over, you can refrigerate it for up to one week.
For an extra treat, place used tea bags on your eyelids while your masque is working. This will reduce any puffiness on your eyelids, and give you a refreshed appearance to complement the new glow of your facial skin.
Hope this was helpful ~~~~~
Good Luck !!!|||Try a good weekly or bi-weekly deep cleansing mask.
I like several kinds, like the kind that peel off, and the kind that is clay, which you allow to dry then wash off.
Both work (not miracles, but still pretty well)- I used to alternate between the two kinds when I had both on hand, these days I usually just use a clay. Don%26#039;t try to use both in the same day/session because it might dry out your skin and cause it to react badly.
I like the Rachel Perry Clay and Ginseng Uplifting Mask:

This one looks really good, which I will probably try out when my current supply runs out:

good luck.|||Steam cleaning is good way to get into your pores. Place your head over a bowl of steaming water and a towel over your head. Stay there for about 5 -10 min. Be sure the water is not too hot, though, it should not be uncomfortable for you to maintain the position for 5 -10 min. This will help loosen dirt and dead skin cells then clean your face as you usually do for a more effective cleanse. The steam will make it easier to deep clean into your pores by opening them up slightly.|||rubbing alcohaul, totally the best thing to get rid of clogged up pores.|||The best thing you can ever do for your complexion and pore %26quot;appearance%26quot; is to exfoliate. If you have very oily skin you can sometimes safely do this every other day. Micro-exfoliation does wonders. If you don%26#039;t want to spend the money, use a coarse washcloth and rub on face in circular motions with your cleanser. Always use a light moisturizer, even with oily skin so your skin does not try to over produce oil on it%26#039;s own which can lead to more buildup. Lastly, use a product that contains retinol (not retin-A, which is inferior). Retinol has been proven to reduce the appearance of pores and to prevent and even eliminate acne. Always talk to a dermatologist regularly. :)|||These are the masks that I use for my pores. They look so much better since I started using these recipes.
Papaya mask/exfoliant
Cut papaya in 1 inch chunks. Blend/mash 2 or 3 chunks and store the wrest in the freezer. Apply the blended/mashed papaya and leave on face for 10-20 min. Use 2 or 3x a week.
The papaya may tingle but that just means that the papaya is working and it is breaking down dead skin cells to give that lovely glow and since it breaks down the dead skin it clears out the pores and in turn they shrink!!! (You may not see the results you want until you use it for a while.)
Egg white mask
1 egg white
1 tsp. cornstarch
Beat ingredients. Apple to face, let dry 10-15 min. Rinse.
(Tightens pores. Makes you look like you got a mini face lift!!)
Clay Facial mask
Choose the right clay for your skin type. (French-oily-acne, bentonite-normal, cosmetic or white-any, kaolinite pink-normal-combo, kaolinite white-dry-mature, kaolinite red-sensitive. Add plain water or floral waters or try wetting agents such as fruit purees . Make a thick paste of the clay. Apply the mask to your skin and let it dry for 20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry. Repeat weekly. ( I use french clay)
