any suggestions pls
thanks.|||I understand that it%26#039;s REALLY annoying to have acne. I%26#039;ve been on prescription medication -both topical and oral- for almost four/five years when I was in 6th grade %26gt;.%26lt;, have tried EVERYthing like Murad and Proactive and all of that, even lazer treatment, ouch!
Well, once side of my family has really bad acne and skin problems and unfortunately I was the one who inherited that bad gene. I don%26#039;t know how serious your acne is, so there%26#039;s not much I can say. If it%26#039;s just a few minor acne flareups, maybe you can ask if you get a doctor to prescribe you a very mild topical creme for your skin like clindamycin phosphate topical gel 1% strength. It%26#039;s what I first started out with and just something your put on affected areas before you go to bed. ^___^
If it%26#039;s worse or you%26#039;d like to REALLY improve your skin-only if it gets like reeeaally bad- then I%26#039;d recommend my current regiment of BenzaClin for morning, Tazoroc and Doxycycline Hyclate tablets for night; with teh Doxycycline a pill that you have to actually swallow. That works great for me right now and I%26#039;m glad to be enjoying better skin. Yeah, sorry for all the medicine name gibberish, I%26#039;ve just become an expert on acne skin care. ^^;
These are simply suggestions if you really want to take serious action for your skin. A doctor/dermatologist is of course the best source. And for things to be better, maybe try taking your acne cream every day so that your skin can adjust better and be more consistent against stopping acne flareups. I%26#039;ve noticed that every time I either start up a new medication or restart one that I forgot to take, the acne almost always gets worse for like 2-3 days before it gets better. Which is why it%26#039;s a good idea to be consistent with your regiment.
Other Tips: 1. Make sure you always have a moisturizer that has a tad of sunscreen, yes even in Winter. Because using ANY type of acne cream, even store bought, makes your skin drier and more prone to sun damage.
2. Use those oil observing pads, they help control oil in preventing more breakouts and reducing pores.
3. There%26#039;s not too much to minimize pores but if you%26#039;re willing to wear real light but effective dust on makeup, really consider Bare Minerals. It%26#039;s amazing!
Sorry if this went WAAAAAY too in-depth in what you were hoping for, but I hoped it helped none the less. |||Maybe not the best solution as it can be extremely drying, but try using a regular cotton ball or pad soaked in rubbing/isopropyl alchol. Leave a thin layer of alcohol over your skin, particularly on trouble spots. If you have a particularly annoying pimple, apply the alcohol directly to it at least 3-4x/day.
Also, if you ever want to get rid of a nasty one that%26#039;s come to a full head, use only a needle or pin that%26#039;s been dipped in alcohol...this will help prevent infection. |||Well i have acne too. I have tried MANY things in the past like Proactive, but it sometimes resulted in getting rid of small pimples and giving me bigger ones. I would suggest just washing your face with neutrogena and warm water. But try this!! When you rub the soap on your face, do it this way. Rub the soap all over your face, not just affected areas, wet your hands, then rub face, dont splash water directly on your face because this just does nothing for you. Dont scratch your face too much and always make sure to have clean hands before touching your face. The expensive solutions didnt work for me, but this worked wonders!! It won%26#039;t take away all your acne, but it will clean the dirt and bacteria that start acne and it will relax your face so your pores will expand and breathe. Oh and also, avoid peanut butter and jelly aswell as too much sugar and especially chocolate!! Those things will murder your face, although natural chocolate is an antioxidant which will actually help you. And drink a lot of water, keep yourself moisturized!! Hope this helped =)|||Well...you can%26#039;t get rid of pores, but you can minimize their appearance.
Best for both of these is healthy diet (low fat protiens, lots of veges, lots of water, very little extra fats or sugar, no junk or fast foods) exersize, sleep. Can%26#039;t stress the water enough. A multivitamine also would be good. Keep your hair,clothes and bedding clean.
Extra for pores, try using mud masks to absorb oil and steam facials followed by a good cleaning. Be sure to always use clean rinsing soaps or cleansers, nothing with deoderant to moisturizers. I don%26#039;t like glycerin soaps, it feels like they leave a film on my skin.
Good luck!|||yo, ive tried everything from pro-activ to neutrogena to clearasil etc. over 3 years. i went to the doctor and got clindoxyl gel and differin cream etc. for about a year. finally i asked my doctor for acutane. this is a powerful product (pill) which can cause dry skin, and cholesterol (when used for several years (unneccesary)), but it really works. try starting with simpler stuff, and eat lots of vitamin C drink lotsa water.|||i%26#039;m sure you ment CLOGGED pores.
