Does a Microdermabrasion Kit really help with Large Pores?

How much do they cost and where do you but them at?|||Professional (in a doctor%26#039;s office) microdermabrasion is more effective in shrinking enlarged pores then at-home kits. Here is why: the high-pressure flow of crystals abrades the skin and removes all debris and excess sebum from your pores, while the vacuum of the microderma machine sucks away everything that keeps your pores from staying to their original size.

At home kits don%26#039;t have that suction function, so what they can do is exfoliate, thus unclogging pores. One of the best kits for your problem is Idealist from Estee Lauder. It costs around $50 and you can find it online or in most beauty shops. There are cheaper options (Neutrogena, Olay, Philosphy) and they might work very well for you (different creams have different results on people). You can find them online, in drugstores or beauty shops.

Hope this helps and good luck,

Joanna.|||They won%26#039;t shrink your pores but they can help clean your pores, thus making them look smaller.

You can find microdermabrasion kits at most any drug store.|||No Kristen, sorry to tell you it doesn%26#039;t. Pores may appear smaller for a few hours due to swelling(irration) of your skin. If you choose to get dermabrasion or chemical peel, see a professional. But, I do have an answer for you. Go to Dr. and get Retin A. It peals skin safely and improves over all skin texture. Good luck sweetie.
