I need a good Sunscreen or sunblock that wont clog my pores?
perferably otc or cliniqe brands|||I like Neutrogena Dry Touch formula. It comes in a variety of SPFs, doesn%26#039;t clog pores, and doesn%26#039;t feel greasy. It%26#039;s the only sunscreen (when I use it) if it%26#039;s not the type already found in my moisturizor.|||neutragena - the best|||dont use sunscreen.sunscreen blocks ultraviolet rays.ultraviolet rays are responsible for creating vitamin d.vitamin d fights cancer.if you block it,you arent immune to cancer.most people that wear sunscreen are more likely to get cancer.check it out on the internet.
What does does bio-oil do? and will it clog your pores with the oil?
It helps with scarring (mainly caused by acne) and is great for stretch marks. No it will not clog your pores.
Whats a good facial scrub or anything that opens up your pores?
I need something to help my face a bit..|||Iam a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.
In my experience of 12 years alot of commercial store bought products DO NOT WORK!
Why do you want to open up your pores? Do you want to unclog the pores?
Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it%26#039;s a broad question!
Your age plays a role! How old are you? Do you always have breakouts?
Clogged pores can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.
If you are a teenager ( which I assume that you are) your hormones play a definite role.
The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.
The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples%26#039; needs.
Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?
Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:

Good Luck to you,

If you want to get in there and clean out your pores, start with warm water on your face because warm water opens them, then wash your face, then rince with cold water to close them up again.|||Biore products are soo good! I love %26#039;em!

Its pretty cheap and works very well.

Wash it once a day and then keep your fingers off it!
Use an astringent to close your pores. The cheapest thing to use, which I use, is plain old rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball once a day. Keep it away from your eyes. Don%26#039;t over do it or you will dry and irritate your skin more.
LIGHTLY apply a little petroleum jelly (Vaseline), around your eyes to keep the skin supple.|||hi

How to clean clogged pores ?
I don%26#039;t really have any pimples just a ton of tiny white heads and clogged pores.
I can%26#039;t really get to them and squeeze em%26#039; out. Is there any way I can get them out?|||That is one thing you dont want to do is get them out. Try getting a acne cleanser to clean them, because squeezing them out can make you have a scar there or it will just fill back up.|||i would suggest washing the area with an acne cleaner like Oxy it works really good. but try to not use soap and water it can clog up your pores even more.
Hope that helps =)|||Have you every tried exfoliating? Or even using a deep cleanser along with it? What works wonders for my skin are St. Ives facial scrub (the one for all skin types). and Noxzema deep cleanser. First use the scrub then the cleanser twice a day. They work wonders for my skin. I suggest you should try it out. Then come back and let us know how it went.

How to treat open pores on face?
suggest natural homely easy remedies for semi oily skin type.
also tel me ..is applying cream or almond oil or desi ghee at night beneficial for treating open pores?|||If you are referring to closing up of open pores in order to prevent pimples, then here is the good part:
Rubbing cucumber pieces/ juice on your face will close them.
Rubbing ice cubes will tighten them..
But... The disadvantage is that they will help in closing of your pores only for around max 30 mins.. Not more than that..So all cosmetics claiming to close the pores are all crap..
If you all you want to do is to avoid pimples and not close ur pores.. then probably you can try applying multhani mitti/ fullers%26#039; earth pack on face or applying cucumber mask(grate and put the grated thing on your face for 10 mins) or applying lemon juice all over the face..
NO.. cream, almond oil, desi ghee, honey are meant for DRY skin types.. which dont have big open pores.. If you are looking for products for avoiding open pores, go in for Lemon juice, Fullers%26#039; earth/multhani mitti , curd, green tea etc..
Hope i helped..|||yours is a combination skin so this is what you need i have mention a facial mask for as well
Oily Skin - Generally your skin becomes greasy in appearance within an hour or two after cleansing, and remains that way throughout the day. The pores are usually enlarged. This is usually hereditary, but is manageable through proper diet and skincare. The usual method for dealing with this type of skin is to dry it out. This is just a temporary fix though, which just creates more of the same as the body tries to lubricate the dry surface. I prefer to treat this skin as more of a normal skin type, don%26#039;t dry out, and don%26#039;t add too much oil. Eventually the oiliness calms down. There are ways to reduce pore size naturally, which helps the overall appearance. Cucumber and Tomato will be good choices to reduce large pores (mash and apply, or mix with yogurt for more creaminess). Also clay masks (look for Bentonite or Fuller%26#039;s Earth at your healthfood store) will help to purify and tighten the pores. Just make a paste by mixing with water.
Dry Skin - Diet, heredity and age play a role here. After forty, most of us need more help in keeping the skin supple and moist. Make sure to eat a well-balanced diet, including some oil (fish oils are great), and give yourself nourishing facial mask treatments weekly. Avocado and Banana are good choices for dry skin. When mixing your masks, you may want to add a bit of a good, rich oil such as Avocado, Wheat germ or Almond. Egg Yolk is also a good choice for feeding your skin what it needs.
Honey Almond Scrub
This is a Honey Almond scrub with a Peppermint twist! This product will exfoliate your skin to help make it smoother and softer.
路 4 T Almond meal (or Almond flour)
路 2 T Jojoba oil
路 4 T Honey
路 5 drops of Peppermint essential oil
Pour the Almond Meal and Jojoba oil into a 4 oz cobalt or amber glass jar (preferably). Stir well. Then mix in the Honey and Peppermint essential oil. Keep stirring until the mixture is completely mixed.
To use: Cleanse the skin first. Apply about a teaspoon amount of the scrub to a moistened face. Mix with water to make it a more fluid application (do not add water to the jar, mix with the small amount of scrub in your hand). Scrub the skin gently in circular motions, letting the almond meal do the work (harder pressure will only damage capillaries!). Massage every square inch of skin except the delicate eye tissue. Remove with a warm washcloth. Be careful to remove every bit of the scrub. Apply a freshener or hydrosol with a cotton ball to remove any excess product. Finish by applying your moisturizer. Use about once a week to help keep the skin soft and smooth and relieve surface tension. This is a perfect treatment to have before applying a soothing mask.
I HOPE THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU ,
